Losing it?

People in Chicago scream about Ozzie Guillen and his antics, well they better start looking at Carlos Zambrano. This guy needs some serious help. Lou Piniella also needs to grab control of this out of control team.

That Gatorade machine is going to get killed one of these days.

Well Z is looking at a 15 game vacation with that hissy fit.

And the guy was safe!

Zambrano will have a few days off and be a little lighter in the wallet. MLB has rules in place to handle this kind of stuff unlike the NBA and NHL where behavior like this is an everyday occurence.
The Cubs are not an out of control team, they just have a few characters who any manager, (including Ozzie who can't control himself most of the time), would find hard to control. They are Big Z, Bradley, and now Freel.
You are not letting out a news flash here. As their various explosions happen during the season, they will be disciplined accordingly.......

Ted Lilly running out of the dugout to confront an umpire, Ryan Dempster beating up the Gatorade machine.

Don't bring in the NHL and NBA to deflect the attention. The Cubs are out of control and you know it. Piniella things it's all a big joke

Your comments crack me up (and probably Lou too if he reads your blog). It must be nice being a fan of a team that in your own words 'aren't picked to win anything'. It must be nice to dream about 2005 and never put another competitive team together again.
But in Cub land, we give the fans something for their money like a team that is expected to win. When teams like this have an 8 game losing streak, minor incidents like this happen.
It's not about a team out of control, it's about a team showing their competitive nature......
